"Filhos do Vento" delves into the socio-environmental conflicts and resistance experienced by the quilombola community of Cumbe, in Aracati (CE), following the arrival of a wind farm in 2008. Without being consulted, residents began a struggle against the impacts that the project had on their way of life, culture, and relationship with the land. The documentary reveals the conflicts and contradictions behind the "clean energy" discourse of this energy model that is expanding throughout Ceará and Brazil. Human and sensitive, the film is a direct narrative about the struggle to preserve a quilombola community in the face of changes brought about by large enterprises.
