Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Cinemoood at cinemoood.app (built by Youssef Mohamed), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Cinemoood is a platform for discovering films and shows, building a taste profile, keeping lists and memories, chatting with friends, joining the community, and hosting or joining Movie Nights. Features may change, improve, or be retired as we grow.

Film and TV information (titles, posters, cast, ratings, and related metadata) is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) through their API. Cinemoood does not claim ownership of that catalog content. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Full attribution is on our About page.

• You must provide accurate registration info and keep your login safe
• You are responsible for activity under your account
• One person, one account — no impersonation or fake bulk accounts
• You must be old enough to use online services in your country (at least 13+)

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, harm others, or put the platform at risk.

You keep ownership of content you create on Cinemoood — reviews, posts, messages, memory photos, bio text, and similar (“Your Content”).

You grant Cinemoood a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate the product (for example showing a review on a movie page or a memory in your circle).

You confirm you have the rights to upload what you share, and that it does not violate law or someone else’s rights.

Be decent. Do not:

• Harass, threaten, or spam other users
• Post illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative content
• Share spoilers without clear warning where the product supports spoiler tags
• Scrape, attack, or reverse-engineer the service in abusive ways
• Use Movie Night rooms to distribute pirated streams or violate copyright

Cinemoood helps people decide what to watch and share the experience. We do not host movie files for streaming. You are responsible for how you legally access films.

Cinemoood AI and related tools may suggest films, pairings, or explanations. Suggestions can be wrong or incomplete — use your judgment. Do not rely on AI output as professional advice.

Some features may be free; others may require a paid plan (such as Cinemoood Pro) if and when offered. Pricing, trials, and billing terms will be shown at checkout. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise.

Cinemoood’s name, logo, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, brand-jack, or redistribute them without permission.

Cinemoood is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect recommendations, or error-free third-party film data.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cinemoood and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.

You agree to defend and indemnify Cinemoood against claims arising from Your Content or your misuse of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the latest version.
