Overview

Elliot is a very hard working student who is already on a bursary at a public school, who is trying his best to get into Oxford. His mother, a night shift nurse, strangles Elliot with the pressures of not succeeding in life and urges him on to achieve the family's financial safety. Elliot is all too aware that a place at the most prestigious university comes with its pressures, both social and financial. One night, Elliot's mother goes off to work and leaves Elliot in charge of his sick little sister. However an invite from one of his school's richest, most popular girls proves too much to turn down. Elliot's choice sets him on a dark road in his quest for acceptance.
