It is a completely human sacred story that the Sacro Monte di Varallo, in the masterpieces of Gaudenzio Ferrari, Tanzio da Varallo, Gherardini, Morazzone, Ceranino, delivers to us, and which the cinematographic gaze, as if on an uphill climb, struggles to grasp. You get closer to where the visitor's eyes cannot reach, beyond the grates, the glass, the borders that protect and keep away these statues/paintings/people, you get confused among them, inhabiting their houses/chapels and meeting one by one all the characters of this petrified crowd.
