Overview

Neil, an optimistic American boat captain, moves with his family to Duruitoarea Veche — a small village on the banks of the Prut, where the lake plays a central role. Passionate about sailing, Neil decides to pay tribute to the community by setting out to teach the village’s elderly ladies how to hoist the sails and set off on the water. At first, they view the idea with scepticism, but also with a curiosity they find hard to hide. Thus begins an adventure full of cultural clashes, laughter and unexpected bonds.
