Dolores leads her parents to believe she is an ambitious nurse. But in secret, she pursues her passion for dance. Night after night, she performs at Auguste Link’s club, “Pigalle.” When the star of the revue tears up his contract, Dolores sees her big chance. But Mother Martens throws a wrench in the works. She visits Dolores’s supposed boss, the psychiatrist Dr. Lorenz.
